John saw the risen Christ among seven golden lampstands, which the vision identifies as seven churches. His shining appearance communicates majesty and authority.

John saw a heavenly throne, an emerald-like rainbow, and worship surrounding a crystal-like sea. The vision celebrates God as Creator.

The Lamb is worthy to open the scroll sealed with seven seals. Heaven praises Him for redemption. The Lamb represents Christ.

As the first four seals open, riders appear on white, red, black, and pale horses. Their imagery includes conquest, the loss of peace, scarcity, and death.

John saw a countless multitude from all nations, clothed in white and holding palms before the throne and the Lamb. The passage promises care and comfort, with tears wiped away.

The rider on the white horse is called Faithful and True and the Word of God. The vision proclaims Christ’s righteous judgment and sovereign victory.

John saw a new heaven and a new earth, and the holy city coming down from God. God dwells with His people, and sorrow, death, and pain pass away.

The holy city shines with God’s glory. A river of life flows from the throne, and the tree of life brings healing for the nations. There is no temple building, and divine glory supplies its light.
